Catlin Tierce is a vibrant entertainer and a breath of fresh air with his song
writing honesty. Songs like "Bud Ain't Wiser" has touched so many
people and changed lives. It was recently recorded by Quinton Mills
who says, "I have seen men walk out in tears after hearing this song.
It really hits home."
Catlin has shared the stage with many well known singers but doesn't
want to be referred to as the guy who sang with all the 'who's who.'
He says he wants to be remembered as the one who touched their life
with the love of Jesus through his music.
CD's like "Heaven Won't Be The Same Without you" and "Faith Of A Child"
are full of heart touching songs. "Don't Wanna Go Alone..." is a song
written about his wife's prayers. "Going Away Party" is a song about
his grandmother.
His latest project is "Mama's Prayers." It is a powerful song in of itself. This CD is packed with songs of encouragement and hope. It takes you on a journey of his life and what GOD has brought him through as well as what he has seen others around him come through by the GRACE OF GOD!
A personal testimony
Born in Wahalla,SC. April 3 1959 The oldest of 5 children. There
wasn't much time for church but his mom still taught me wrong from right.
She raised all of us by herself telling us what she knew of Jesus and God. So,
we knew who God was; we just didn't have a relationship with him.
In 1995 I was divorced and raising two sons by myself when I met Ellen. She
was raising three kids by herself.I'd never met anyone like her.She actually
prayed for me the first night we met.This was very unusual for me. It took me
back to a time just over a year prior when I came up on a Bike wreck. Me being a
biker I stopped to help. The guy ask me to fetch his friends waiting on them at
Walmart. So I did and when we returned to the scene; every one of those bikers
hit thier knees and started praying.That kind of thing scared me a little.
I knew my mom had been praying for me. Every time she had an opportunity to
she would say so. But I never actually saw it put into action. First the bikers
and now this lady that I had just met. Two weeks passed and we were really
getting close. Spending all the time we could together. Then I got a phone call
early one mourning from my mom.I was with Ellen at the time. When I heard the
phone I thought it might be my brother; Mike. We were suppose to go fishing that
mourning.As I answered the phone a cold chill came across me. Mike had been
killed in a car wreck the night before along with another boy. They were
drinking and riding around.
This hit me like a ton of bricks. I went out back of Ellen's house and fell
down on my face under her clothes lines.Then and there I ask God to change my
life.I wanted to live for my kids. I wanted a future without the drinking and
partying that I had been doing. I knew something had to change. Thank God for
prayer. For without it I'm sure I would not be here. God's still working on
me.
Ellen and I have been married for ten years.We have six children, yes
we addopted one. and we are foster parents to two little girls. We also have
four grand children.God has blessed me with way more than I deserve. I find it
hard to beleive I've been singing gospel music for over ten years. Thank you all

last twelve years.
