Bill Snow, Jr. is quickly making his mark on the Western Music world. Upon releasing his second CD, No Ryman, No Reason, Bill has been able to perform with musical greats from both the Western and Country music genres. Hank Thompson, Chely Wright, Ricochet, Restless Heart, Juni Fisher, and Les Buffham to name just a few. Growing up in Southwest Missouri, in the Ozark Mountains, Bill discovered his passion for music through his father, Bill Snow, Sr., who wrote and recorded many great Country/Western songs. A few of these songs can be found on No Ryman, No Reason. Bill, Sr. played with some of Nashville's finest during the early '60's such as Lefty Frizzell, Earnest Tubb, Dottie West, George Morgan, and Faron Young.. When adding in these vocal sounds to those of Jimmie Rogers, Marty Robbins, and Eddie Arnold, Bill Jr. began to develop his own personal style of singing and yodeling.
Bill Jr. began his singing career right out of college as lead vocalist for White Oak. Traveling the Midwest, singing and entertaining in the Country music world, Bill found that his love for the older style of music could be better conveyed through Western music rather than the Top 40 Country Western that had begun to dominate the radio. Bill is a true cowboy. He grew up on his family's cattle ranch where he found his love for horses and cattle at an early age. This lifestyle prompted him into becoming a Professional Farrier. His contacts through his trade have opened many doors of opportunity to sing for Rodeos, Ranch Resorts, and for such venues as the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy. Bill is available for Western events, Cowboy Gatherings, Cowboy Church, Rodeos, etc
